Jason Kass

Prof. Kass is  an artist and scholar interested in the cultural, communicative, and experiential aspects of visual media. He obtained a PhD from Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton (United Kingdom) and holds an MFA from School of Visual Arts in New York.

Currently, he teaches in the art department of the University of Maryland as a Senior Lecturer. Most recently, He served as Director of the Fashion Communication program at London College of Fashion, where he previously directed the BA (Hons) Creative Direction for Fashion degree and lectured on visual communication for fashion. From 2018-2020, he was Assistant Professor at Parsons School of Design in New York City and Associate Dean of the School of Fashion.
