Learn more about future career paths in TV and film from UMD alum, Uju Enendu. During this virtual career chat, Uju will share more about her career path. After a moderated conversation, there will be time for student Q&A.

Uju graduated with a BA in Economics from UMD before completing an MA in Playwriting & Screenwriting in London. Since then, Uju has worked for several UK theaters and organizations as a script reader, dramaturg and producer and sits on the reading panels for The Royal National Theatre in London and The Relentless Award for the American Playwriting Foundation / Building for the Arts (New York). Uju started off in TV as a junior researcher in celebrity biopics and daytime quiz shows. She worked on Strictly Come Dancing (the UK equivalent to Dancing with the Stars) and then moved into scripted television (and film) working for the BBC, ITV Studios, and a number of UK indies as a Script Editor, Story Producer, and Development Producer. Uju just completed work on a film for Netflix.
