Spring Commencement information
Dear Graduates,
Congratulations to the classes of Winter 2021, and Spring 2022!
Below is important information regarding the Department of Art Commencement Ceremony:
This ceremony will celebrate both the Winter '21 and Spring '21 graduates, all winter 21 graduates are welcome to attend.
The main UMD ceremony will be held at Maryland Stadium on May 20th at 12PM. Tickets required.
Our ceremony will be held on May 19th from 1:30-3:00 in the Kay Theater at the Clarice.
Please arrive at the robing room by 1:00. Follow signs for the Department of Art
Tickets for our ceremony are not required. However, please let us know if you will be attending, and how many guests you will have for the commencement as soon as possible, but no later than APRIL 18th. - email Danielle Curtis with this information: dcurtis2@umd.edu

Regalia can be purchased via the campus bookstore at this link: PURCHASE DEADLINE IS APRIL20th
Masks: All attendees will be required to follow current COVID-19 health and safety guidelines. Please visit this website for the most current information. We will follow-up with more information as the date draws nearer.
Following the departmental commencement, there will be a reception in the Atrium of the Parren J. Mitchell Art-Sociology Building. This will give everyone the opportunity to visit, celebrate, and view the Senior Show in the Herman Maril Gallery.
